Movieland 1 & 2

Located in Limerick, County Limerick in the Roxboro Shopping Centre. Opened on 18th October 1974 with “The Exorcist” in Screen 1, a 210-seater with Pullman and Plymouth seats, and “The Scarecrow” in Screen 2, an 87-seater with seats at 75p. It lasted until February 1983 with director Jack Bourke blaming the declining shopping centre for the downturn in trade.
