Newham Council have agreed to lease the former cinema to Oxygen ActivePlay for use as an indoor activity centre. More here: https://newhamvoices.co.uk/2025/10/24/new-lease-of-life-agreed-for-former-stratford-cinema/
Unlikely the Prince Charles will be moving in here as Gregory Lynn who runs it has stated in the Newham Citizen. More here: https://www.newhamcitizen.co.uk/prince-charles-cinema-stratford-lifeline-slips-away/
Metro Cinema can be clearly seen above the paydesk but the place is still empty. It seems they too are unlikely to move in as plans fell through. Picture posted today. More here: https://newhamvoices.co.uk/2024/10/24/metro-cinema-no-go-for-stratford/
Black and south Asian films are currently being screened on a monthly basis at the Source Arts Centre (old Stratford Circus building) directly opposite.

Picturehouse have confirmed that this cinema will close on 28th July 2024, the third closure announced for this summer along with Bromley and Fulham Road. When I was there a few months ago to see The Zone of Interest it did seem a bit of a sad sight, looking very worn and areas closed off.
Two exterior photographs I took in April 2006:
