In May 2017 while the Warren Theatre was in the planning stages Bill Warren sold seven of his theatres to Regal Cinemas, not including the Midwest City. Warren opened the Midwest City on August 22, 2019.
Designed by SPT (Spangenberg Phillips Tice) Architecture with an Art Deco design, the 10 screens have 4K digital projection and 7.1 digital sound.
The theatre notes: “Upstairs is still for patrons 21 and older, where you can access one of the 4 balconies, which offer at your seat service to order food or a drink from the full service bar".
Closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and in December 2020 Warren announced the closure would be permanent. The theatre was offered at a sheriffs auction. Property owner Arvest Bank reached an agreement with Regal Entertainment to reopen the venue, which it did in July 2021.

in financial trouble in September. “MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – A Midwest City movie theater that has been open for less than a year is being foreclosed upon.
The Warren Theatre, which closed for months because of the COVID-19 pandemic, is going into foreclosure.
The theater had been open for just seven months before COVID-19 caused all movie theaters to temporarily close back in March.
Arvest Bank filed the foreclosure in late August, saying the theater owes millions in loan payments and interest.
Warren already sold the theaters they operated in Moore, Broken Arrow, Kansas and Missouri.

that cinema looks cool with the techicolour light show .
I frequent this location and it is a 10 screen theater, not 14. Not exactly sure when but sometime early in the construction phase the plans were changed to a 10 screen theater.
