South Loop 4

The Cinema IV opened by Cinemark Theatres on April 20th, 1979. Two auditoriums had 272-seats and the other two each had 208-seats. It was renamed in 1986 to South Loop 4 to avoid confusion with the Cinema I & II. It was later taken over by Plitt Southern Theatres, Cineplex Odeon and Carmike Cinemas who closed it in 1998.
