Event Cinemas opened December 1, 2016, after purchasing the Downtown Cinemas from Cinema Holdings the previous June.
Downtown Cinemas originally opened September 28, 2011, in a previous existing theatre that was refurbished.
The four screens seat 440 with the 3D theatre seating 140.
