Five Points Drive-In

On October 24, 1953, Boxoffice reported, “The Five Points Drive-In at Five Points, owned by A. D. Ruff, opened October 23. The 400-car project was equipped by Walter G. Preddey Co. Ruff owns the Ritz Theatre in Huron”.

The 1955 Motion Picture Almanac listed the Five Points Drive-In with a capacity of 300, owner A. D. Ruff. It was closed in July 1956.

Although still outlined in a 1967 topo map, the drive-in had been partially dismantled by a 1971 aerial photo. By the 1981 photo, there was no trace left.
