The Lake George Drive-In launched on July 18, 1946 with Gary Cooper in “North West Mounted Police” and Eddie Bracken in “Hold That Blonde”. The theatre also hosted Sunday church services. But the theatre faced competition from larger drive-ins and was closed in 1952. It was demolished in favor of a motel.
