Previous Names: Masonic Hall, Strand Theatre, Civic Theatre

Located in Leura, NSW in the Blue Mountains. Built as a Masonic Hall in 1919, it was equipped to screen films from its opening. In 1920 it was renamed Strand Theatre. Known as Civic Theatre from 1937. Name changed to Liberty Theatre on(28th October 1941?). Closed in circa 1959. Then used as a roller skating rink and for karate classes, and also the Katoomba RSL(Returned and Services League), who purchased the building in 1956. Demolished in December 1993, a cottage has been built on the site.
