Monarch Theatre

The Monarch Theatre opened on November 23, 1913. On May 29, 1914 the manager Leo G. Goldman was shot dead by robbers as he made his way home. He had $30 on him, but the gunmen fled empty handed. The Monarch Theatre was closed around 1928, and the building was later demolished.
