Located in the Gold Circle Mall in the corner of the plaza on the northeast corner of Everhard Road NW and Whipple Avenue NW. The Circle Mall Cinemas 4 was opened by General Cinemas on December 17, 1976. Renamed Movies 4, it became Cinemark theater In the 1990’s, it had an awning which extended out toward the parking lot, though this was later removed. During that time, it was a second-run theater. It closed in 1991, with the nearby Movies 10 (North Canton Strip) changing from first-run to second-run.
It was reopened by Cinemark on April 2, 1993 as Movies 4 - Hills Plaza. After most of the plaza sat empty in the 2000’s and 2010’s, the entire plaza was heavily remodeled in the late-2010’s, and the former theater was gutted out to become another storefront. As of 2020, it’s now a home goods store called Kirkland’s.
