Opened by 1950, the Fouar Cinema was a first run theatre. It was operated by Victor Arwas & Les Films Naray. Seating was provided for 544 in the stalls, 151 in the balcony a 6 in the loge. The Fouad Cinema screened French & Italian movies. The technical equipment was by G.B. Kelly.
