The Star Cinema was operated by Elias George Lofti as a 2nd run cinema. Seating was provided for 414 in the stalls and 400 in the balcony. The Star Cinema screened Egyptian, Arabic, American & British productions. The E II projectors were by Ernemann and a Western Electric sound system was installed.
