When it first opened as the Ashland the entire floor staff were females. I’ve uploaded an image as the Ashland.
After the twin Chevy Chase closed it became a number restaurants and clubs.
It was finally razed in 2016.
Opened as Chevy Chase cinema on 14/6/1967 with “Caprice”. Reopened as a twin on 25/6/1981 with 2 cartoons(not named), an old newsreel and “State of the union”.
