The Harry Davis Enterpise Co. opened the William Penn Theatre on May 4, 1914 as the finest moving picture in America. Later on, it was part of Harris Amusements. It reopened as the Harris Northside Theatre on April 24th, 1943, and closed in 1952.

Odd that there were concurrent William Penn Theatres for a time in Pittsburgh. Uploaded a 1936 photo of this one from the Pittsburgh City Photography Collection.
