Located in Fleetwood, Lancashire on The Esplanade, opposite Windsor Terrace. Fleetwood Pier was opened on Whit Monday 1910. In 1911 the Pier Pavilion was built. Soon after opening it began screening films as the Pier Pavilion Cinema. It also boasted a café & ballroom as part of the building. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system. By 1944 it had been re-named Pier Cinema.

Around midnight on 20th August 1952 the Pier Cinema was destroyed by fire.

Fleetwood Pier was closed in 2006 due to safety concerns. It was destroyed by fire on 8th September 2008 and the remains were demolished.
