Nearby Theaters
Located in Hartlepool (aka West Hartlepool), County Durham. The West End Picture House was opened on 6th April 1914. Around 1929 it was equipped with a British Acoustic(BA) sound system. In 1955 it was equipped with CinemaScope and an RCA sound system. It was closed in the summer of 1959.
In 1961 it was converted into a bingo club which closed in 1982. The building was demolish soon afterwards.
