The Cinema Triple at the Sunrise Mall was opened by Plitt Southern Theatres on December 29th, 1979 and closed in 1999 to make way for the new cinema complex named Cinemark Sunrise Mall and XD (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures). It was also owned by Cineplex Odeon (keeping the Plitt branding) and Cinemark after 1987.
