The Loveland Cinema was opened by United General Theatres on October 29, 1971 with Peter Cushing in “Frankenstein Must Be Destroyed” & Christopher Lee in “Dracula Has Risen from the Dead”. The opening was attended by film stars Ann Blyth and Andy Devine appearing ‘in person’. Based on public records, it was operated by Mark Siegel beginning on Christmas Day, 1974.
