Pleasant Valley Drive-In

Dr. W. E. Day built the Pleasant Valley Drive-In on the road to Carter Caves State Park northeast of Olive Hill in early-1960. In September that year, it received a disaster repair loan of $1,000 from the Small Business Administration.

Day still owned the Pleasant Valley in December 1966 when he filed to run for lieutenant governor.

The drive-in was still intact in a 1969 aerial photo, but by 1982 the screen and the ramps were gone.
