The 1910 Sanborn shows two theatres operating in the Thomas Block, a large 2-story brick commercial block constructed sometime before 1883.
This one was operating in the second of five storefronts, counting from the west. In 1902, this space had been a millinery.
By 1921, a one story addition had extended this section back to the alley, and the theatre remained in operation. This was likely an expansion to create a more spacious auditorium. The second floor was still commercial space.
The 1946 map shows this space as a store. This section had been used as part of an antique store, but this appears to be closed. Aside from a rather bland plate glass and plywood storefront, the building is in decent shape.

The Arc Theatre was mentioned in the August 5, 1922 issue of Moving Picture World. The Arc and the Sourwine Theatre had been operated by the Brazil Theater Company, which had just sold its interest in the houses to Dr. T. A. Walsh.
