Wigwam Theatre

This theatre was located on the second story of a garage, and also functioned as a skating rink. It was constructed during 1909, replacing the old Lowry Brothers livery and carriage repository. The map notes that it was: ‘To Be Opera Ho. & Skating Rink’.

A large stage, provided with scenery, was located along the rear wall. This theatre remained in operation at least through 1927, and at some point years ago was demolished to create a parking lot.
