This new Omniplex - features include the latest digital laser projection, Dolby Digital sound and Omniplex’s “Classic” leather rocking chairs - opened on 12th December 2019 on the first floor of the Skycourt Shopping Centre in the heart of the town. According to the Clare Echo, it was originally planned to open as a 4-screen in early-2019 but a decision to expand it to 6-screens delayed the launch to December.
