The theatre was purchased by Gannon University and was renamed to the Schuster Theatre in 1995. The theatre is now used by students of Gannon University for performing arts shows as well as sometimes used as a movie theatre.

This theater opened in 1995, it was relocating from the former Playhouse Theatre building at 628 Peach Street.
