Located in East Wemyss, Fifeshire, to the north of Kirkaldy. The Empire Cinema was opened by 1934. The proscenium was 32ft wide and it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston(BTH) sound system. By 1958 it had been taken over by the J.B. Milne Theatres chain and renamed Regal Cinema. It was still open in 1966, but had closed by 1969.
It has been demolished, except for the front of the building, and a private house now stands on the site.
