Delta Theatre

Located the New Lynn district to the far west of the city. The Delta Theatre opened in July 1926 with a dance on its finest Matai wood floor. It was closed in 1928 due to subsidence. It was reopened on 29th May 1929. By 1950, through to at least 1960, it was operated by G. Popovic. By 1968 it was operated by Delta Theatre Ltd. It was closed in March 1986.

It has since been demolished and a building on the site by 2021 houses the La Porchetta restaurant.
