Both Canadian Odeon and Cineplex merged in July 1984, and the Cineplex Odeon identity was introduced the following year in 1985.

This cinema opened on December 22, 1971, with three screens. Its opening films were “Scrooge,” “Without a Stitch,” and “The Go-Between.”
