With over 800-seats, the single screen Five Points West Cinema opened on April 11, 1969 by Cobb Theatres. The opening movie was Elvis Presley in “Charro!”. It was split up into two screens on November 28th, 1975, renamed Cinema West in 1978 after the Cinema City opened and closed in 1984.
