Opened April 4, 1997, this was AMC’s first multiplex of two they built in the affluent suburb of Creve Coeur. Seating 3,750 in a beautiful and comfortable all stadium seat theater. Large lobby and holding area with a game room and central concession stand with two small satelite concessions. All stereo auditorium with plenty of leg room between each aisles.

Very nice theater – one of the most impressive in the St. Louis area for now. This theater was the first all-stadium seating theater to come to St. Louis. Before this theater was built, only the largest screens at already existing theaters were converted into stadium seating.
I saw The Way here on October 10th, 2011. The theatre wasn’t at all busy but I did enjoy the leg room (I don’t think I’ve ever been in a theatre with so much leg room). Really good movie too.
According to this article, AMC plans to convert this theater to its dine-and-view format.
On Monday, 11/5, 12 of the 16 screens are slated to reopen. The remainder in early January. There are two “brands” in the mix, 8 “Fork & Screen” and 8 “Cinema Suites”. Seating has been drastically reduced with new configuration sporting 29 to 80 seats each. In addition to the auditoriums a new bar will be in the main lobby, replacing the concession stand.
Original opening date was 4/4/1997.
