Four Seasons Cinema I & II

The Four Seasons Cinema opened on December 18, 1970 and was typical of all the other new Mid-America Cinema Corp. theatres that were opening after the son-in-laws took over the Komm Theatre chain. The two auditoriums seated 250 each. It was closed on December 4, 1980 with Burt Reynolds in “Smokey and the Bandit II” & Dennis Christopher in “Fade to Black”.

Lots of great memories here! “Halloween,” “Coma,” “Magic,” “Gone in 60 Seconds,” James Bond movies, etc. Simple, compact twin cinema. Thank you so much for the photo!

Kyle, The strip center is where a Dierburgs store currently sits at on Olive Blvd off Woods Mills Rd.

I worked here for a couple of years in the mid 70’s. Manager was Steve something. I also worked across the street for a while at LaTragnas pizza and Italian Restaurant, next to the 7-11.

The theater needs to be added in the Mid-America Cinema Corp. previously-operated list.

Mid-America Theatres closed here on December 4, 1980 with “Smokey & the Bandit II” and, appropriately enough, “Fade to Black.”
