The Barn Theatre opened in February 2018 as a live theatre space, hosting regular performances. It is next door to the Téatro Bar & Restaurant and Ingleside Hotel, the theatre’s sister businesses. In October 2020, The Barn Theatre started doing cinema screenings, having added a projector during the pandemic, turning the site into Cirencester’s first cinema since 2003. Films screen regularly on Sundays, alongside the main live theatre programme.
