Developed by Todd Frager, Dave Fetters and Kevin Donovan, the five-screen, 340-seat New Grand Theatre opened May 6, 2022.
Mr. Frager and Mr. Fetters previously operated the Northland Cinema 5 from 2007 to 2015 and now run the West Mall 7 in Sioux Falls, SD.
The theatre has electric recliners with foot rests and trays, a 50-foot screen in two auditoriums seating 98 each and 35-foot screens in three auditoriums seating 48 each.
A lobby display by the Nobles County Historical Society shows off Worthington’s movie history and includes several photos of the original Grand Theatre’s exterior.
