Located on Willoughby Crescent in the Holbeck district south of Leeds city centre. The Gem Picture Hall was opened on 26th October 1912 and was operated by Mr W. Uttley. It was designed by architect J.P. Crawford of Harehills, Leeds. The Gem Picture Hall had a short life as it closed in December 1916, possibly due to condition during World War I.
It later became a printing works. It was demolished in 1980.
