Theatre Royal

Located in Glossop, Derbyshire. The Theatre Royal was opened on 6th March 1905, built on the site of an earlier Princess Theatre. It began screening films on 12th March 1910. It became part of the Provincial Cinematograph Theatres Ltd.(PCT) chain and was closed in 1920.

It was demolished later and a telephone exchange was built on the site.
