Located in the Mosspark district in the west of Glasgow. The Mosspark Picture House was opened in 1925. It was designed by its building John Caldwell and was operated by Duncan Campbell. It had a 22ft wide proscenium. Around 1930 it was equipped with a RCA sound system. In 1938 it was taken over by Scottish Central Cinemas Ltd., a subsidiary of the Caledonian Associated Cinemas Ltd chain. It was closed on 24th November 1973 with Marlon Brando in “Last Tango in Paris”.
It has since been demolished and a block of flats now occupies the site.
