This opened on September 19, 1969 screening 16mm uncensored movies as the Cinne Arts Cinema. It was renamed Kitty Arts Cinema in 1970 and closed in 1971. It was raided by the vice Squad on December 11, 1971.

It may have been opened into the mid 1970’s but the Chronicle banned adult ads 1971-1974.
Opened as Cinne Arts on September 19th, 1969, showing underground 16MM films. Grand opening ad posted.
Once operated by Cinne Arts Theatres Inc., the venue became the Cinema West Art Theatre in 1972 - likely its last operating name. It moved to 5819 Richard setting up business there until the 1980s.
