“The Lucas Cinemas Albertville in Albertville, Alabama is opening to the public Friday, December 9, 2022.
Located on Florida Short Route (U.S. Highway 431) about three miles southeast of downtown Albertville, the ten-screen theater will be operated by Lucas Cinemas. The company also operates the Lucas Cinemas Fort Benning in Fort Benning, Georgia and the Lucas Cinemas Maysville in Maysville, Kentucky.
According to a news article published by The Reporter (see below), the new theater will feature laser-powered projection equipment and heated reclining seats. The largest auditorium has a 60 foot wide screen and will seat about 189 people."
