Motography reported in June 1911 that plans were being prepared for a theatre to be erected on S. Broadway and 11th Street by Wm. Hamilton and Son. The theatre at 1070 Broadway shows in the 1915 Sanborn but not 1911. A November 1911 Motography item mentions that C.C. Cronin will conduct a moving picture theatre in the H.B. Jones Building on Broadway and 10th Street. Unknown is whether these are one and the same.

The Venus Theatre was at 1070 Broadway. It was one of several theaters operated by Andrew Obreshk.
