Today marks 50 years since the Canal Road closed for the final time, which is October 1, 1976 with “Return Of A Man Called Horse” and “Trackdown”.

The address above is incorrect. The drive in was located across the street. A more accurate address for this theater is 351 Canal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44125. This points directly to the drive in itself. Actually where the screen was located.

This opened on July 25th,1963.

It had two indoor auditoriums.

When this theater opened (late 1960s, I think) it was known as the the Canal Road Indoor/Outdoor Theater because it had an enclosed viewing gallery underneath the projection booth.
