The Isis Theatre opened on November 30, 1916 with Nell Shipman in “God’s Country and the Women” with a segregated balcony. It was reopened as the Orpheum Theatre on September 10, 1923 presenting Keith Vaudeville on the stage, but no movies. It was closed in 1924.
By early-2023 the empty site of the former theatre was being primed to build lofts.
