Located in West Cornforth, 2 miles northeast of Ferryhill, County Durham. The Club Hall Cinema was located in the Cornforth United Social Club. It held a Cinematograph Licence from 27th February 1924. Around 1930 it was equipped with a British Thomson-Houston (BTH) sound system. It had a 12ft deep stage. It was closed around 1935.

The building continued as a social club and in 1968 the Wurlitzer 3 manual 10 ranks organ from the New Victoria/Gaumont, Bradford was installed. It was removed in 1976.
