Located in the north Yorkshire seaside resort of Scarborough. The Picturedrome was a conversion of two shop units. It was opened around May 1908 and was operated by Quentin McPherson Gibson who had previously been a female impersonator in the music halls. In March 1909 it was redecorated and a heating system had been installed. Alterations were made to the Picturedrome in 1913. It operated during World War I, but was closed by the early-1920’s.
The building went back to retail use and in 2018 it was a charity shop for Sense.
