This cinema originally opened as Empire Theatres Regent Mall on December 13, 1996. Its opening films include “101 Dalmatians” (in digital sound), “The Preacher’s Wife” (in digital sound), “Jerry Maguire,” “Ransom,” “The Mirror Has Two Faces,” “Michael Collins,” “Daylight” (on two screens), “Star Trek: First Contact” (in digital sound), and “Space Jam.”
Opened on December 13th, 1996. Grand opening ad posted.
Hearing this theatre is getting quite run down, with small auditoriums and poor sound.
Since Oct. 2013, Cineplex took over this theatre.
