The TOHO Cinemas Shinjuku opened its doors on April 17, 2015 featuring 12 screens and a capacity of 2,323 seats and 24 wheelchairs (two in each auditorium).
Screens 1-6 were located on the 3rd to 4th floor while Screens 7-12 were located on the 5th to 6th floor of the Shinjuku Toho Building.
Screen 9 is the largest auditorium with 499 seats and two wheelchairs and also has the installations of TCX and Dolby Atmos. Screen 10 which has a capacity of 311 seats has the installations of IMAX Laser and Digital 12.1 Channel audio system, and Screen 2 (108 seats) has the installation of MediaMation MX4D. The remaining auditoriums has ranging capacities of 73-407.
