Teatro Biondo Stabile

There is a vintage postcard of Via Roma showing this cinema. The Teatro Biondo Stabile was opened as a drama theatre on 15th October 1903. Seating is located on orchestra and two balcony levels, with rows of boxes on both balcony levels which extend to the proscenium. In the late-1920’s it was converted into a cinema. It remained in the hands of the Biondo family until the early-1980’s when it was taken over by new management and reverted back to live theatre use.
