Shaw Theatres JCube & IMAX

Following the success of the IMAX theatre at its then newly reopened Lido Cineplex, Shaw Theatres opened its second IMAX location at Shaw Theatres JCube in Jurong East on 5th April 2012, along with six regular halls. The JCube cineplex also replaced the original six screen Jurong Cineplex, which closed in October 2008 on the same site.

The cinema ceased operations 7th August 2023 together with the mall. It will then be redeveloped into a 40-storey condominium with shops on the ground floor, slated for completion in 2027.
