This early theater appears on the 1911 Sanborn, in an old two story brick building dating to sometime before 1886. It was likely constructed in 1885 after a huge fire swept away the wooden buildings on this block. The 1905 map shows a restaurant here.
Despite a fairly wide and deep space, this was not a successful operation, and the 1923 map shows a store here.
The building survives today, but sadly is the lone building on the block to have gotten a trashy sheet metal covering. The appearance was likely similar to the buildings just to the south. It is an appliance store.

Note that while this theater was operating, this was Commercial St, but became M by 1923.
