White Way Theatre

This theatre was opened in 1914, in a large two story brick building that replaced an earlier airdome on this site. It had a very simple facade, with three large windows on the second floor. A stage and scenery were provided for live acts. It was listed as (Closed) in the 1932 edition of Film Daily Yearbook.

This theatre operated into the 1950’s. It has suffered a really bad cheap sheet metal remodel of the ground floor, and is an American Legion Post, along with an older building on the corner.
