Located in the Tiergarten district of west central Berlin. The main entrance was on Turmstrass and there was a second entrance around the corner at Wilsnacker Strass 63. The BTL-Lichtspiele was opened in 1929 and was designed by architect Wilheim Timm. It was damaged during World War II. It had reopened in 1948 and was rebuilt in 1957 to the plans of architect Erhard Klockling. It was closed in 1979 and has since been demolished.
