Ultrascreen

The Ultrascreen theater, located at 1 Mill Circle, made its grand debut on May 23, 1997. It boasted the impressive iWerks projection system, but unfortunately, it faced low attendance. Eventually, on May 14, 1999, the theater closed its doors—perhaps overshadowed by the nearby Edwards IMAX in the same mall complex. Interestingly, the county decided to part ways with the Ultrascreen trademark and name, selling them to Marcus Theatres from the Midwest.
