Electric Theatre

This early theater appears on the 1908 Sanborn, in the northern storefront of a two story brick commercial building dating to 1891. The prior map, from 1899, shows a printer here.

The northern half was quite a bit shallower than the southern portion, and the 1913 map shows a theater (the Majestic) in that space, with this space being occupied by a confectionery. This may have been an earlier location for that operation, or perhaps it was an unrelated theater.

The building today is in decent shape, and the ground floor is occupied by an antique store.
